Medical Resources Selects Dynamic Imaging IntegradWeb
PACS
Cites Ultra-Fast Speed and Superior Clinician
Communication as Key
Allendale,
NJ, August 15, 2004 — Medical Resources,
Inc. (MRII), a chain of 62 imaging centers, selected Dynamic
Imaging (DI) as its PACS provider for its Florida Region. first
project of this partnership will be the deployment of DI's advanced
IntegradWeb PACS at seven sites through out the state with its
primary reading location in Sarasota Florida. A second-generation
Web-driven PACS, Dynamic Imaging's IntegradWeb provides full
PACS functionality to any computer with web access.
"With its innovative image communication and feature-rich
design, IntegradWeb provides extremely fast workflow. It will
support rapid report turnaround for our referring physicians
and image sharing among our Sarasota sites," said D. Gordon
Strickland, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Dynamic Imaging was selected following an in-depth six-month
evaluation of more than 10 vendors by a multidisciplinary team
of radiologists, IT and purchasing staff.
"The advanced IntegradWeb PACS will also meet the needs
of our referring physicians, who will have access to full-fidelity
images and a broad range of tools, including sophisticated 3D
functionality available over the Web," adds Edward C. Eichhorn,
Senior Vice President of Development. "Also, its unique
architecture will allow us to solve the difficult problem that
previous attempts have not solved well: the timely and ad hoc
distribution of cases to radiologists, based on caseload, subspecialty,
or interest." Adds Eichhorn, "We also liked IntegradWeb's
high-quality, plain-paper image prints, and the exceptional value
that the system offers."
"Based on Medical Resources' experience with their existing
PACS, they had very clear goals for the project. After thoroughly
examining IntegradWeb, they felt our technology would support
their goals. We are extremely pleased to have been selected to
provide our technology to such a large and prestigious organization," said
Alex Jurovitsky, CEO of Dynamic Imaging, Inc.
