Dynamic Imaging Introduces Enhanced System Architecture
and Expanded Clinical Applications for IntegradWeb PACS
at RSNA 2004

November 28, 2004, Chicago, Ill — New clinical applications, innovative fault architecture and management tools for todays large 3-D data sets enhancements to Dynamic Imagings IntegradWeb PACS debuting at 2004. An advanced second-generation Web-based PACS, IntegradWeb a complete range of industry-leading features and provides full PACS and accessibility from any computer on the LAN/WAN or over the .

Debuting at RSNA, new Fault Tolerant Grid Architecture assures business continuity in multi-site PACS deployments in the event of network failure. If a connection to a central server experiences temporary failure, this innovative new architecture enables each site to continue to function independently. Once the connection is re-established, the PACS will then automatically resynchronize each sites data with the central server to ensure integrated image access and across all locations.

Recognizing the growing challenges large 3D image data pose to a traditional PACS, Dynamic Imaging also debuts a range of innovative features that streamline analysis, management and storage of todays multi-slice images. includes a Configurable Slice-Thickness Reformatting engine that will image formatting to minimize storage space requirements following visualization and reconstruction.

Complementing this, a new Slab Scroll Tool creates on-the-fly in-plane reformatting with adjustable slice thickness, allowing ultra-fast navigation through axial images, while the original images remain unchanged and available for thin-slice review.

Providing unprecedented image storage flexibility, a Configurable Data Storage Controller automates lossy image compression and rules-bases repository migration over time to create increasingly smaller file sizes as studies age. A revolutionary user interface is used to plan, manage and monitor all image migration processes.

Also being introduced at RSNA is a set of tools for boosting productivity and enhancing communications with referring physicians.

Automatic Results Notification automatically emails referring physicians a link to their studies online once diagnostic results are available. Physicians enter a user name and password and are directed to the patient folder where current and prior reports and key images can be viewed and compared.

An enhanced version of IntegradWebs Key Images Template steps up to a new of functionality with the ability to configure the most commonly used phrases for dragging and dropping onto key image templates.

Other new features include Hanging Protocols based on Scanning Techniques and Orientation, which streamlines management of non-standard scan protocols and improves study layout predictability.
