St. Francis The Heart Hospital Selects IntegradWeb
PACS
Integration with Cardiology PACS and
Improved Access Sited
as Key Factors in the Decision
February 14,
2005, Allendale, NJ — St. Francis The Heart Hospital
of Roslyn, New York has chosen Dynamic Imaging's IntegradWeb
PACS to meet the digital imaging demands of its fast-growing
radiology and cardiology services.
"When we began the PACS acquisition process we had two
primary goals," states Richard Bizelia, Radiology Manager, "We
needed to ensure a tight integration with our cardiology PACS
we also needed a system that was easily accessible by our growing
community of referring physicians and specialists."
IntegradWeb PACS provided the open architecture and Web-driven
functionality required to meet these challenges. Now, radiologists,
referring physicians and sub-specialists can simply log onto
IntegradWeb from virtually any hospital workstation or from remote
sites via the Internet.
Adds Mr. Bizelia, "Working with
Dynamic Imaging was a pleasure. They took the time to understand
our requirements and designed a solution based on our input."
IntegradWeb's open, standards-based design coupled with Dynamic
Imaging's expertise in complex implementations, made them the
logical choice to handle the integration with St. Francis' existing
cardiology PACS
"We performed an exhaustive search and became convinced
that IntegradWeb provided the highest level of technical performance," states
Alan Katz, MD, Director of Medical Information Technology at
St. Francis. "We were particularly impressed with the ease
with which IntegradWeb could be deployed across our LAN and secure
extranet."
