Dynamic Imaging's IntegradWeb PACS
Selected
by Glades General Hospital
Ease-Of-Use and Web-Based Technology Cited
As Main Reasons for Decision
Allendale, NJ, June 17, 2005 — Dynamic
Imaging, an established leader in Web-driven PACS technology,
announced today that Glades General Hospital in Belle Glade,
Florida, has selected the company's IntegradWeb PACS. The new
system will replace a PACS solution that had been in place at
Glades for several years. At this time, enterprise-wide implementation
has been completed and the radiologists and other clinicians
at Glades are enjoying the full-functionality of IntegradWeb
PACS.
Glades General serves patients from a large geographic area
in Palm Beach County Florida. Unlike its previous PACS system,
IntegradWeb's unique Web-based technology allows the hospital
to communicate studies and reports to remote radiologists, subspecialists
and referring physicians as quickly and easily as if they were
on site. Reading and referring physicians can access Glades'
IntegradWeb PACS from off-campus locations over the Internet
with their existing Windows workstations.
"Glades General represents the type of hospital for which
we designed IntegradWeb. They are an acute care facility that
serves diverse patient and referring physician populations," said
Alex Jurovitsky, Dynamic Imaging's CEO. "Facilities and
physicians are demanding more flexibility and accessibility in
their PACS solutions. We designed IntegradWeb to meet these demands
without compromising clinical functionality or image quality."
"IntegradWeb is easy to use and offers more tools than
the other PACS systems we evaluated," said Bruce Samples,
the radiology director at Glades General. "Based on our
decision criteria, IntegradWeb was the clear choice."
Glades General is also pleased that members of the Dynamic Imaging
are so easily available for and open to questions.
"Dynamic Imaging has been great throughout our selection
and implementation process," said Samples. "I really
look forward to our continued work with them.
