Dynamic Imaging's Integradweb Pacs
Selected
by NYDIC Open MRI of America
System to provide secure, immediate
access to images for patients and physicians.
ALLENDALE,
NJ January 26, 2005 — Dynamic
Imaging, an established leader in PACS technology, announced
today that Nydic Open MRI of America, one of the largest companies
in the United States to provide open magnetic resonance imaging
examinations, has chosen IntegradWeb for the radiology PACS needs
of its 28 imaging facilities across the nation.
"Our system, IntegradWeb, will help Nydic radiologists
provide consultants from any location at any time," said
Alex Jurovitsky, the chief executive officer of Dynamic Imaging. "IntegradWeb
will give Nydic's referring physicians full-fidelity images and
a broad range of tools, including sophisticated 3-D functionality.
The system allows users to access studies and reports on-line
and offers them each individualized tool sets, access privileges,
and preferences sets. And it's fully HIPAA-compliant, using cutting-edge
encryption technology to transmit and store data."
Nydic CEO Lawrence Buchwalter said, "IntegradWeb
will empower our radiologists, referring physicians, and their
patients to securely manage image data the way they want and
will improve the way we all communicate. Immediate access to
patient images enhances work flow and improves patient care
in all of our centers by providing the data needed to make
informed patient care decisions when time is of the essence."
Buchwalter said Dynamic Imaging simply
offered a better PACS architecture than the competition. "We selected this system
for its functionality and scalability, with secure capturing,
distribution, and archiving of images," he said. "The
bottom line is that this system will ensure higher quality image
management in a seamless work flow so that we can focus on serving
doctors and their patients."
