Dynamic Imaging Debuts Unified Web-based RIS/PACS and Expanded PACS Functionality at RSNA 2005

Top Rated IntegradWeb® Addresses Complete IT Demands
for Ambulatory Radiology Practices

November 1, 2005, Allendale, NJ — Dynamic Imaging, an established leader in
Web-based PACS, announced today that it will debut and demonstrate its latest product, IntegradWeb RIS/PACS, as well as the latest version of the company’s acclaimed IntegradWeb PACS, at this year’s Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting, Booth #5150, from November 27 through December 2 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.

IntegradWeb RIS/PACS Arrives
Dynamic Imaging’s new IntegradWeb RIS/PACS builds on the advanced Web-based architecture of IntegradWeb PACS to fulfill the complete radiology informatics needs of all ambulatory settings: RIS, PACS, billing, document management, and digital dictation. IntegradWeb RIS/PACS accommodates the requirements of radiology group practices, multi-specialty group practices, single imaging centers, and distributed imaging center chains with complex, regional/national business models. The system provides a single, unified radiology desktop powered by an end-to-end, Web-based workflow that includes scheduling through billing, as well as document management and digital dictation. One of the exclusive hallmarks of IntegradWeb RIS/PACS is the billing module, which shares the same user interface and database to provide truly comprehensive, roundtrip views of the patient visit without the user having to exit the application. IntegradWeb RIS/PACS is scheduled for wide release in early 2006.

“With IntegradWeb RIS/PACS, Dynamic Imaging offers the premier filmless and paperless experience for all ambulatory facilities. No matter the complexity of the business model, or challenging clinical and business requirements, our Web-based desktop has got it covered,” explained Alex Jurovitsky, Dynamic Imaging’s chief executive officer.

IntegradWeb RIS/PACS’ single desktop extends enterprise-wide image and information access to improve diagnostic accuracy and to accelerate turnaround time for radiology interpretation. The solution also provides a complete set of operational, business, and clinical data with the aim of reducing a facility’s number of rejected or denied claims for rapid payment. And perhaps most importantly, IntegradWeb RIS/PACS offers a unified dashboard with access to all patient and business information to deliver more efficient practice operations, optimize service delivery to referring physicians, and improve patient care.

Jurovitsky continued, “Ambulatory practices no longer need to make compromises in order to provide the ultimate service to referring physicians while minding the absolute fundamentals of their radiology business. An integrated RIS/PACS platform is what ambulatory radiology businesses demand, and with IntegradWeb RIS/PACS, we have delivered.”

New Features for IntegradWeb PACS
At RSNA 2005, Dynamic Imaging will also demonstrate IntegradWeb PACS version 3.5, with extended integration to a host of third-party applications. The mature, acclaimed Web-based architecture of IntegradWeb PACS has proven to be invaluable for both acute care and ambulatory care environments of all sizes. The depth of integration and functionality demonstrated at RSNA highlights many of the exclusive IntegradWeb PACS innovations. PACS buyers are encouraged to stop by Dynamic Imaging Booth #5150 to get a free “PACSMap” to assist them in comparing and contrasting the various PACS solutions at RSNA. In advance of the conference, PACS buyers may also download a copy of the PACSMap by clicking here.

The following integrated functionality is either currently included in IntegradWeb PACS v3.5, or is planned for completion by RSNA:

  • Dictaphone PowerScribe™ for single-click voice recognition.
  • Dynamic Imaging integrated document management for paperless operations.
  • Dynamic Imaging’s OrthoTools™ powered by Orthocrat TraumaCad™
for true Web-based orthopedic templating and planning software. No local software is required for initial use, an industry exclusive, and the tool includes one-click saves back to the original study.
  • Barco Voxar 3D™ embedded integration for 3D rendering anywhere, with single-click saving of reconstructions back to the original study. RSNA 2005 builds on the industry’s best embedded 3D.
  • TeraRecon AquariusNET™ for server-based 3D rendering.
  • Vital Images Vitrea 2™ for 3D and advanced visualization.
  • Fusion7D™ PET/CT, multi-modal image review, co-registration, and analysis.
  • Medimage MedView™ for advanced nuclear medicine applications.

“One of IntegradWeb’s greatest characteristics is the flexibility of its Web-based architecture. This allows us to continue to expand integration into the industry’s best third-party applications very quickly, efficiently, and affordably for our customers. We want everyone at RSNA to experience first-hand how incredible these new features are,” said Jurovitsky.
