Dynamic Imaging Introduces Benchmark Boost Marketing Initiative, Guardian Monitoring, & Extended IntegradWeb® PACS Integrations at SCAR 2006
Boost Allows Customers to Optimally Market PACS to Referring Physicians; Guardian and Integrations Continue to Enhance IntegradWeb PACS Features and Flexibility
Allendale, NJ, April 3, 2006 — Dynamic Imaging, an established leader in Web-based image and information management, will introduce a groundbreaking marketing program to enable customers to effectively market their services; announce a new, proactive systems monitoring tool; and demonstrate enhanced integrated capabilities for IntegradWeb PACS and progress with IntegradWeb RIS/PACS at the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) meeting in booth #707, from April 27-29, 2006, in Austin, Texas.
To schedule a demonstration of IntegradWeb PACS and/or RIS/PACS at SCAR 2006, please click here.

Boost: Optimizing
Referrals through Innovative PACS Marketing
SCAR marks the debut of Dynamic Imaging’s Boost marketing program—a novel addition to IntegradWeb PACS’ already impressive value proposition. An industry first for ambulatory and acute care practices, Boost provides Dynamic Imaging customers essential PACS marketing tools, helping them concentrate on PACS implementation—alleviating anxiety about PACS promotion post go-live.
At no additional cost with all new IntegradWeb PACS purchases, Boost includes 150 customized sets of professional-grade marketing materials specifically targeted to increase referrals from referring physicians and their affiliated group practices. Targeted materials include print collateral, silk-screened CDs, page prints of IntegradWeb’s best-in-class reports and key images, and response cards contained within an attractive, glossy box positioned for medical imaging. Existing customers will receive the benefits of Boost with 25 free customized sets of marketing materials. Upon request, additional sets of Boost materials may be purchased at nominal cost.
“Community-based hospitals and imaging centers often do not have the resources, time, or expertise to properly market their new systems and services,” explained Brad Levin, Dynamic Imaging’s vice president of marketing. “Boost takes the marketing burden off our customers’ shoulders, helping them market their PACS easily and successfully.”
Existing customers may take advantage of Boost by sending an e-mail to

Guardian: Proactive
Systems Monitoring
IntegradWeb PACS and RIS/PACS customers have always benefited from Web-based solutions that can be entirely diagnosed and repaired from Dynamic Imaging’s Allendale, New Jersey, corporate offices. Now, these customers can take advantage of Dynamic Imaging’s new proactive monitoring tool: Guardian.
Guardian enables complete remote monitoring of hardware, software, and network connectivity. Furthermore, Guardian peers into the actual performance of the IntegradWeb software application, monitoring routine performance criteria such as image acquisition and compression queues, for example, to proactively alert support teams before end users experience any degradation in system performance.
“Guardian allows us to identify system performance issues before they manifest as problems to users. Guardian will centrally monitor the condition of our customers’ systems at our headquarters, taking full advantage of our support expertise and of all the resources required to ensure optimal systems operation,“ explained Andrei Leontiev, Dynamic Imaging’s director of product management, standards, and interoperability.
IntegradWeb PACS:
Enhanced Integration
Demonstrating the latest release of IntegradWeb PACS, Dynamic Imaging will present extended integration with hospital and radiology information systems, now totaling at least 8 hospital information systems and 27 radiology systems, including systems from MEDITECH, McKesson, Siemens, Cerner, Emdeon, and AMICAS. Most prominent of the newest integrations is enhanced, bidirectional desktop integration to GE Healthcare’s IDX Imagecast (also known as IDXrad).
IntegradWeb PACS’ integration is a RIS-driven workflow via a true implementation of IDX’s integration toolkit. Integration includes single–signon capability for Imagecast users who can launch the IntegradWeb PACS Viewer from Imagecast’s Interpretation Worklist and sophisticated launching of Imagecast’s Order Entry screen from within the IntegradWeb PACS Study List. Enhanced real-time integration also enables bidirectional HL-7 messaging from the PACS to the RIS to include study arrival messages, split/merge acknowledgements, the number of images, and more. Via intelligent context sharing, users can freely navigate the IntegradWeb PACS study list and viewer and can invoke numerous Imagecast modules for the same patient. This allows users to have complete, easy access to patient information. In addition, radiologists can now enter Imagecast’s Signature Queue without having to exit IntegradWeb PACS—an impressive level of integration.
Dynamic Imaging will also demonstrate integration with the industry’s best clinical applications, providing the optimal clinical and workflow experience for all specializations and environments. In addition to existing integration with Dictaphone PowerScribe™ for voice recognition, Barco Voxar 3D™ for embedded visualization, OrthoTools™ powered by Orthocrat TraumaCad™, and native paperless document management, IntegradWeb will be demonstrated with integration to the following applications:
- TeraRecon AquariusNET for server-based 3D rendering
- Vital Images Vitrea 2 for 3D and advanced visualization
- Fusion7D PET/CT, multimodal image review, coregistration, and analysis
- MedImage MedView for advanced nuclear medicine applications
IntegradWeb RIS/PACS:
An End-to-End Solution
Dynamic Imaging will also demonstrate continued development of IntegradWeb RIS/PACS: an integrated, single-desktop RIS/PACS that features end-to-end Web-based workflow from scheduling through billing, with document management and digital dictation. IntegradWeb RIS/PACS expands upon the Web-based architecture of IntegradWeb PACS, fulfilling the complete Web-based workflow needs of ambulatory settings (e.g., imaging centers, ambulatory care facilities, and radiology group practices), regardless of size and complexity.
